A little bit about "Dead Silence"

As a suspenseful horror film on the top 20 list, the setting of horror elements and the setting of character scenes are worth learning.

First of all, the scene that surprised me the most in the whole movie: the male protagonist lightly touched his father's head, and his father's entire upper body fell forward, and the hollowed back and the joystick that penetrated the body appeared faintly. in front of the audience. Then the camera was directly facing the back and pulled in from far away at a very fast speed, giving the audience a strong visual impact. The shooting of this short scene did not have too many skills, but it was like a bomb, thrown out with a snap, bursting all the calm, leaving only deep fear and doubt.

The second is the most touching character: the husband of the elderly couple climbed into the narrow and claustrophobic tunnel to call for her wife again and again. When he went to look for his wife for the last time, he died tragically in the tunnel. inside. At first I thought he was a dark and negative figure controlling his wife, but it turned out I was wrong. When the door of the pipeline closed, his mood perfectly showed the transition from helplessness to panic and despair. And his call was ultimately unheard by his wife.

Finally, the overall tone and atmosphere of the picture. From beginning to end, the picture is very in line with the dark and cool tones of horror films, only the male protagonist's car is red. This red car carries the male protagonist again and again on the way to find the cause of death for his beloved wife. Perhaps this red color also represents the sincere and passionate love of the male protagonist for his wife, which can be clearly read by the audience in an environment full of despair and death.

However, compared to similar films, this film also has flaws. I feel that this film lacks a rope that tightly ties the audience. Even if the rope may exist, the tension should not be enough, resulting in a slightly dull story.

All in all, it's worth watching.
