This is Mills' private story. He murmurs in a private narrative way but can enter the viewer's heart. He is healing his own wounds and comforting others. This film is dimmer in lighting than the small fresh film, which conforms to its rather lonely and introverted story. Ewan's introverted performance and Plummer's handy performances added a lot of luster to the film, and even the performance of the dog is also commendable. The illustrations and music chosen by Mills, a literary fan, for the film are excellent.
