Find your own Anna or Oliver on the lonely road.

It was another last night that I watched "Beginners", a film that was as bland as boiling water, but I think real life should be so bland or even tasteless, where can there be so many surging, passionate and tortuous clips. Everyone should have moments of loneliness, even when they yearn for loneliness, and there is always a reason for this loneliness, just like Oliver, he can't forget his father who just passed away. The memories of his parents seemed to him his whole life, so he couldn't find anything to fill the void that the loss of his parents brought him, so he spent all day and night with his dog reminiscing about the images that would never come back.

However, the lives of different individuals are sometimes similar. He was fortunate enough to meet Anna, who was as lonely as him. In the life of two lonely souls, Oliver could never get out of those memories, which made him always doubt Anna's existence. It couldn't help him, and it wasn't until the years when Anna left him that he came to his senses.

Memories are precious and unique, but when we can't go back to the past, perhaps only the wonderfulness of the next stage of life can continue our most cherished memories. For Oliver, he will never be able to get out of the memory, but fortunately he has Anna who can take the memory with him and continue to write the memory of the next stage of his life.

On the road of loneliness, you need a life partner who can enjoy loneliness like Anna, so try to find it!

Beginners quotes

  • Oliver: And what about the chair? Is it gay?

Hal: The chair is not gay, obviously.

  • Oliver: We didn't know how we learned the stories in our heads, but sometimes they stopped running, and I can really see Anna's eyes in 2003. Her ears. Her feet. This is what it looks like when she says, 'I love you,' in 2003. This is what it looks like when she cries. When she tells me there's always a new empty room waiting for her. They used to make her feel free. Now they make her feel the opposite of free.
