There are time jumps, but without disturbing the logic of the audience. It is because of the profoundness of the techniques that it is backward compatible, and it benefits a lot from running following the master's narrative line close at hand. Humans are born with similar and different attributes. When we are in different roles, we need to be in the play without being fascinated, just like us who distinguish the primary and secondary and are not enslaved by our thoughts. The things that hide the knife in the smile refer to the original intention of making us work harder to distinguish the shape and the image.
