love and freedom

The movie recommended by a friend, I watched it... I like my sister Kate very much. She is a very cool and very individual girl. Although she has cancer, when faced with life and death, she is less afraid and bravely chooses what she wants... And Awaken your sister's "self-awareness" and tell her the right to dominate her body. The ending of the movie also shows that everyone should live for themselves (meaning to lead their own life, not just for themselves, to be a selfish person. It is not a moral kidnapping, and must be "the right person in everyone's eyes" ). At the beginning of the story, I felt that my mother was so great. In order to continue my sister's life, I gave up the work and life I liked, and led the whole family to abandon their own lives and fight the disease together. Although there was no hope later, I would never give up. But the biggest question is: she has never asked Kate and Anna how they feel, is she willing to continue her life in such a painful way? Are you willing to use your body to heal your sister? (In fact, anna is of course willing to pay for her dear sister, but the sacrifice of active choice and the sacrifice of being kidnapped by her mother's morality are completely two meanings). The ending also verified that my mother became an outstanding lawyer, and my younger brother studied his favorite major in college... When everyone is doing their own thing, the family is happy, and everyone will miss the beauty of Kate together, I think this is the best ending. The lawyer later told Anna that the case was won and that the state had amended medical custody because of the incident. The story is very touching, the theme is very clear, ready to read the original novel.

Andromeda 'Anna' Fitzgerald: [shouts] You promised!

Sara Fitzgerald: [yells] That's a lie, Jesse.

Jesse Fitzgerald: Mum, no, it's not. Kate's dying and everybody knows it! You just love her so much that you don't want to let her go!

    Campbell Alexander: Your Honor?

Jesse Fitzgerald: [continues] But it's time Mum, Kate's ready.

Sara Fitzgerald: That's not true. Kate would've told me!

    Campbell Alexander: Your Honor, I...

Jesse Fitzgerald: Mum, she did tell you.

Brian Fitzgerald: She did. She told you million times, you didn't want to hear it.

Andromeda 'Anna' Fitzgerald: When I was a kid, my mother told me that I was a little piece of blue sky that came into this world because she and Dad loved me so much. It was only later that I realized that it wasn't exactly true. Most babies are coincidences. I mean, up in space you've got all these souls flying around looking for bodies to live in. Then, down here on Earth, two people have sex or whatever, and bam, coincidence. Sure, you hear all these stories about how everyone plans these perfect families. But the truth is that most babies are products of drunken evenings and lack of birth control. They're accidents. Only people who have trouble making babies actually plan for them.

Andromeda 'Anna' Fitzgerald: I, on the other hand, am not a coincidence. I was engineered. Born for a particular reason. A scientist hooked up my mother's eggs and my father's sperm to make a specific combination of genes. He did it to save my sister's life. Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if Kate had been healthy. I'd probably still be up in heaven or wherever, waiting to be attached to a body down here on Earth. But coincidence or not, I'm here.
