so sad to see

The movie makes me sad, the unfortunate event has ripped the family apart, and my mother's paranoia is even more incredible. If my sister was born out of anticipation rather than her parents' desire to heal her sister, how happy should she be? Even if she has older brothers and sisters, she will be loved.

Many people have become completely paranoid after putting themselves into the perspective of patients, as if they should exploit the organs and health of their relatives as long as they are sick. If someone does not think so, it is a sin...

Yes, it’s hard to get sick and get treatment, and there’s nothing wrong with wanting to live, so what’s wrong with healthy people who don’t want to be deprived of their healthy lives?

My Sister's Keeper quotes

  • Andromeda 'Anna' Fitzgerald: I want to sue my parents for the right to my own body.

Campbell Alexander: Would you repeat that, please?

Andromeda 'Anna' Fitzgerald: I want to sue my parents for the right to my own body. My sister has leukemia. They're trying to force me to give her my body parts.

Campbell Alexander: You're supposed to give her a kidney?

Andromeda 'Anna' Fitzgerald: She's been in renal failure for months now.

Campbell Alexander: Well, no one can force you to donate if you don't want to, can they?

Andromeda 'Anna' Fitzgerald: They think they can. I'm under 18, they're my legal guardians.

Campbell Alexander: They can't do that.

Andromeda 'Anna' Fitzgerald: Well, I want you to tell them, because they've been doing it to me my whole life. I wouldn't even be alive if Kate wasn't sick. I'm a designer baby. I was made in a dish to be spare parts for Kate.

  • Jesse Fitzgerald: Our family is kind of disconnected. Dad's relatives are wealthy and distant, and Mom's side drives her crazy. So besides Aunt Kelly, we never really get to see anybody except on holidays or disasters.
