Uncle Kerry didn't steal the show, the protagonist was the story.

A warm film, there is no big right or wrong, and some are about an ordinary person who is kind and brave when he encounters difficulties in his career and family, and perseveres to solve these problems. The expression of the penguin in the film is much richer than that of Uncle Kerry.
Penguins look very unreliable in the film (not computer stunts), and a group of silly penguins look like a group of heartless dwarf rogues who pretend to be B. Luckily they have black and white skin and don't speak English yet.

Those six cute penguins should be the protagonists of the film, but unfortunately they were all overshadowed by the light of Jim Carrey. Warm and childlike.

Mr. Popper's Penguins quotes

  • Mr. Popper: I'm not coming in to work again today.

    Pippi: Pourquoi?

Mr. Popper: I have a pest problem.

Pippi: What particular pest is the problem?

    Mr. Popper: It's a penguin.

    Pippi: Penguin?

Mr. Popper: Yeah! It starts with "p"; you ought to be able to handle it.

  • Pippi: Per your predicament, I printed a pertinent page from Wikipedia.

    [Reads]

Pippi: "Gentoo penguins may periodically imprint on a particular person as if they were a penguin. Once imprinted, they remain permanently proximate to their parental proxy."

Mr. Popper: Is it actually written that way?

    Pippi: I'm paraphrasing.
