Freedie Highmore's acting can be described in one word - superb. From the film of August Rush, this young boy who is precocious, sensitive, has a precise grasp of the role and has a wonderful interpretation has been deeply embedded in my mind. In this film, he played two roles by himself. At first, I thought that the two little boys looked alike, but I didn't realize that Freedie played the role alone. It can be seen that he fully deduced the personality difference between the two characters; until The big villain in the film, Mulgarath, and his subordinates said that there were two boys who looked exactly the same, and I only discovered this "secret". Freedie is quite good at interpreting emotional dramas. In the film, the affection between him and his father, mother, and siblings is vividly shown in his language and demeanor performances, which makes the audience moved and moved.
It must be admitted that the way of eradicating the big villain in the film is really unexpected, but it is absolutely reasonable, and the foreshadowing in the front is very well done, so this surprise is all the more precious. Moreover, the tenderness at the end of the film also makes people feel warm, and the corners of the eyes are a little moist when watching the selfless.
The last thing I want to say is that after watching the video, I went to imdb to search for Freedie's profile. This little boy was born in 1992 and is already 16 years old. I really did not expect this at all. Foreigners generally look older than their actual age, but Freedie is a special case. I guessed that he was a 12- or 13-year-old junior high school student.
