Are the characters fictional? !

According to my habit of watching good films, I always stop when I see the last note of the ending song. As usual, the ending says that all the characters in the film are purely fictitious... There is nothing wrong with looking at
it, but the problem is, there is really a truth in this film. character, and played by himself, ---- the reader Jacob.
As I watched the film, I was thinking, is this person the same reader who used to have a set of original English books with reading tapes when he was studying in college?

Hereafter quotes

  • George Lonegan: I'm sorry, I'm losing him now. He's... he's leaving. He wants to leave.

Marcus: No, Jase. Don't go. You can't.

    [starts crying]

Marcus: Don't leave me. I don't wanna be here without you. Please, Jase, don't go. I miss you.

George Lonegan: Okay, he came back. He's here. He says if you're worried about being on your own, don't be. You're not. Because he is you and you are him. One cell. One person. Always.

  • Billy: Did you do the reading?

George Lonegan: Look, you still don't get it, do you? You think just 'cause I can make money doing this... just because I can, that I should do it.

Billy: [shrugs] Yeah, yeah I do. I also think you have a duty to do it, because you have a gift.

George Lonegan: It's not a gift, Billy, it's a curse.
