Dungeons & Dragons: Season of the Witch

This is an unprecedented running group, it is neither in Faerun, nor in Klein; there is no Knight Captain of Neverwinter City, and there is no Baal bloodline little sister. It happened on Earth, not in Middle-earth tens of thousands of years ago, but in the Crusades hundreds of years ago...

It turns out that Earth is a low-magic world, when everyone fought with swords, there really was such a demon Wandering around here.

But just because no one believed in magic, when the big devil appeared, a group of people had no protective measures except holding a scripture and throwing a few bottles of holy water.

It turned out that the heavens were so incompetent that the great devils appeared, but the archangels didn't even have the most basic response. They dropped a book and let mortals fight against that god-like existence.

In general, the plot is rather crap, and it hurts to watch. The opening feels like Middle-earth, halfway through, it looks like Faerun, and finally it travels to the Griffin Principality.

However, according to DND's standards, it was a good run, but the result was a bit tragic, and the priest's clothes were really thin. The film also fully reflects the magical power of magic and the mental blow and physical crushing effect on ordinary people in the low magic world. Amen.

  • Debelzaq: You swore an oath to God. Have you been released from this vow?

Behmen: My vow is to God. Not the men who murder in His name.

  • Hagamar: [locked in a stock] Ah, visitors. What can I do for you gentlemen? Perhaps you'd like to pelt me with fruit or kick me in the groin.
