Julia Roberts is really old, and the shape is wrong. However, the tone and posture of her quarrel with the man was exactly the same as that of Notting Hill, except that the big movie star of that year has become the dehydrated walnut that is now swinging the world.
She didn't see herself clearly, the only gain was just another man and a relationship with an uncertain future, the beginning of another cycle.
A book is wonderful, but a movie may not be able to convey it; if a book is bad, the movie must be even worse.
