American highway movies, we are now learning!

The United States in the 1960s was full of restlessness and anxiety. After the so-called "American Dream" was completely shattered, road films appeared as genre movies. The highway is always an element full of metaphors and symbols in American movies. This contains the most true, natural, or most yearning, and deepest things in my heart. This film has all the elements needed for a road movie. Adventurous, thrilling, exciting, funny, and even nonsensical. Every element and every journey is full of jokes.

Hughes’s early scripts are really shit and fart styles. A holiday trilogy. This movie has never been good. The subtitles have not been kept. I didn’t expect Station B to actually buy the copyright of this film. The subtitles can also be really great.

National Lampoon's Vacation quotes

  • Clark Griswald: [talking about Aunt Edna] She can't weigh more than 100 pounds.

Ellen Griswald: Oh, no. You can't just put her on the roof.

    Audrey Griswald: Yes, he can!

Clark Griswald: You want me to strap her to the hood? She'll be fine. It's not as if it's going to rain or something.
