Synopsis: Black-haired Max (Kat Dennings) works part-time at a low-end restaurant in Brooklyn, New York. Restaurant colleagues include Lee Han, the petite Asian-Korean owner, Oleg (Jonathan Kerte), a cook who loves to tell jokes, and Earl, an elderly black cashier. The restaurant's new waitress, Caroline (Beth Bells), is tall, blond and full of socialites, out of tune with the restaurant's class. Max questioned Caroline's identity and accidentally learned that Caroline was the daughter of a trust fund owner. Her father's bankruptcy and imprisonment made her lose all her life as a rich lady. In order to survive, she had to Put down the lady's dignity and go to work at the Williamsburg Hotel. The soft-hearted Max took in the homeless Caroline. Although they had different backgrounds, the same penniless situation made the two girls become good friends. Although Caroline was in trouble, she was always thinking about using her business acumen to make a career. Not only is she beautiful, she's smart, and she stumbles upon Max's talent for making cupcakes, and encourages Max to partner up with her to open a cake shop. But to make that dream come true, they'll have to manage to raise $250,000 in start-up funding, which seems like a big challenge for the cash-strapped sisters.
