I thought it would be 6.5 or above, but I didn't expect it to be 6.1, I think it's pretty good (and I'm obviously a very picky person)...
Generally speaking, small format is a common problem of fairy tales. It is indeed difficult to make a cartoon suitable for all ages, but this movie is really good in extending and expanding the content of fairy tales, I think.
Discuss the pros and cons of personal opinion.
———————————————
Advantages ("Yes!"):
1. It is still very moving to sacrifice oneself for others: the black supporting roles of birds (hereinafter referred to as birds), tree spirits, smurfs, maleficent. In particular, the martyrdom of the Smurfs is explained in the form of flowers growing out of the pipe organ, which is not unremarkable and refreshing, but also a pun.
2. Bears haunt: I didn't expect that the crow's random word cue came true ("Prime Minister's wishes come true!"). When I saw the bears change, I was moved by "Avengers assemble".
3. The legend is true! Maleficent is really a phoenix, which is beyond my expectation, asides, although there is no cue reborn from the ashes, but also cue the stalk of "black phoenix will evaporate when gray, and gray phoenix will become black".
4. Matryoshka: The godmother and the goddaughter mutually logically closed the loop, infinite recursion, which is amazing.
5. Color tribute: Green and Pink pay tribute to the blue elves who died before. Although it does not conform to Glassman's law, this clip echoes the previous article on the basis of reflecting the enthusiasm of the elves' mother-in-law, which is unexpected.
6.Angelina Jolie is really beautiful, and she has a good grasp of the role of the independent female image.
7. From the creative point of view, it feels like a lot of efforts have been made to compile the whole film. It has indeed expanded and improved a lot of things, and the story background has been enriched a lot; Maleficent has risen from the first thin witch image to a group and A collection of personal interests, the roles are much fuller; the black-bellied queen's performance is really good (her reaction is completely understandable and fully supported. If she is smarter and more complicated, I even hope she will win...); The tit-for-tat during dinner and some embellished jokes (such as the prince asking the queen to kiss) are basically flawless.
———————————————
Neutral ("It's excusable, and it's not really good enough."):
1. "I know what to do, but I don't do it": The conflict completely stems from the shut-up player Maleficent at the beginning. You say that if you explain a few more words at the beginning, the play will not end (although it can only be played in this way for the development of the conflict).
2. The confused king: understands love and peace, understands the core of the story, understands everything from beginning to end, but doesn't understand what the arsenal downstairs is doing every day... A typical supporting role king, stereotyped.
3. The crime in front of the guards: The queen used such a big awl to stab the king, the guards didn't see anything, and the King of Lanling was not so invisible.
4. The makeup of Warcraft went to the wrong studio: the makeup of the birds is really hard to describe; and a group of birds who sounded quite smart in their pre-war speeches had their intelligence to zero in actual combat.
5. Iron powder flying goes against common sense, and the explosion process lacks quantification: abandoning physical logic for fireworks special effects can be understood as an exaggeration for visual effects.
6. The design of the eradication of elves seems to be very urgent: the plan to catch turtles in the urn has been implemented at the juncture. Does the screenwriter insist on using the technique of "the villain dies of too much talk" to whet the appetite of the children (in other words, this woman is also versatile in both art and culture)? I guess most adult audiences know that the elves will be saved and humans will definitely lose after seeing the piano clip...
7. It's too hasty (not exciting) to lift the curse at the end: so old hatred and new hatred don't matter? In addition, in fact, it is reasonable to say that when the queen framed Maleficent, Maleficent should 1. improvise to release the curse, 2. identify the queen as a bitch (end this war before it begins, a bit like "Reversing the Future"), that is, the end of the play.
8. The queen changed suddenly: To be honest, although this person was born incorrectly, her intelligence and ability were still online. In the early and middle stages, she was a calm and wise black-bellied queen. After the trend has passed, she immediately becomes a demented laughing stock... Fairy tales are written like this. , I advise myself.
9. You can turn the enemy into a goat, why did you go earlier? Maleficent is suspected of fishing and law enforcement, which increases the plot ups and downs in disguise, and sublimates the theme of the movie with violence.
10. The cliché and complete happy ending.
———————————————
Inadequate ("That's a bit unreasonable, isn't it?"):
1. The princess found that the secret door bridge section lacked foreshadowing and could not form a complete logical closed loop: this section went to the cloakroom and stopped to explore activities. Compensatory explanations can be made through the clips behind imprisoning the princess, but compensatory explanations are generally required. The key foreshadowing or foreshadowing, this bridge obviously does not belong to this category, and even the explanation is a little far-fetched, so when you see it, it will give people an inexplicable feeling.
2. The black hole of the spinning wheel and the dream logic: It is understandable that the curse attracts the princess to stick her hands, but the mystery of the dream is not understood, and the sudden awakening is too sudden.
3. Simple R&D team and unclear process of anti-water: Why did the elves turn black? Why kill the same kind after blackening? In the end, why did you abandon the dark and cast the light? Is it a sudden awakening of inner justice? Still don't want to do research alone? Or has the general trend gone to see the rudder? Or did the writing team deal with it? (Speaking of which, why don't the other elves know the wonderful reaction of the iron powder and the other side flower?)
4. The ending song sung by rexha is really not good, the words are too straightforward to fit the movie, the lyrics are dry, and the theme is called, emotionally too sad, there is no feeling of a powerful ending, and the general level of rexha is lost.
———————————————
It would be interesting to over-interpret the ending:
1. The victims have passed away, and the survivors enjoy happiness, which has a taste of national distress and wealth.
2. The spiritual core of the film is love and peace between people and (birds) people, but the peace in the film comes from the absolute advantage after Maleficent's rebirth (even if this advantage is given by mysterious power), namely: "Peace means holding in the hand A thicker stick" logic still holds.
3. Maleficent brings peace, Maleficent approves love, Maleficent empowers women, but holds weddings with human rituals - (I know the princess is human) Love is compromise, and it will never change.
4. After the ending of the fairy tale of "living happily together", there will still be kissing and sex, and the prince will still have to wash his socks. I wonder how Maleficent will feel when he senses that the princess experiences European and American tastes? ...I think it's probably not as good as the bird clan.
