watched the movie THE LONGEST RIDE during the long journey from Seattle to Seoul. The Chinese name translates to the longest journey. The above passage is a letter written by Ira that the lawyer read at the auction before the film is over. This passage may seem nothing special, but it made my eyes burst into tears. I even guessed the overly false ending, but I was still overwhelmed by it. Love is like this. It is so beautiful that you don't believe it. It may not happen to yourself, but such love must also exist.
The love of two pairs of people, one old and one young.
The old pair is Ira and Ruth. Ruth loves art, but the old Ira doesn't understand, but he loves Ruth deeply, so he collects the artworks she loves with her. As stated in his letter, his joy in collecting art does not lie in the art itself, but in the people who collect it with him. Remember Ruth asked him in the film: Do you like it?
