Charlie, a direct victim of 9 • 11, lost his wife, child and dog in the disaster. Charlie has never recovered since then, suffering from severe autism and depression. He has become accustomed to stepping on an electric scooter every day and walking around the streets like a corpse wearing a big earphone. The huge trauma in his heart prevents him from returning to a normal life.
