He gave us a group of people who still have some shadows of literary and artistic little angry young children a channel to moan freely. After reading it, although it didn't have the climax of the story I expected, I still felt very comfortable. That's the most obvious difference from bad movies that don't tell a good story -- the difference between telling a story that isn't your way and not being able to tell a story.
