i thought it was gonna be just another lame and stupid american love story.

oh well, it was, indeed, a very lame story and i probably figured out the whole story line with no surprises and plots 5 mins into the movie.

at the beginning i picked this movie to watch on my flight from chicago to beijing because i had no other choices. i thought i was gonna fall asleep, but i not only stayed awake the whole time but also had tears in my eyes half way to the end.

this story basically tells that it certainly takes more courage and effort to dream than to live in reality, and when you believe in true love, you need to chase it like you worship it. and with the effort to search for your happiness, you are already happy in your life no matter what.

the point of this movie is so simple and straight-forward, but i was moved by the intention of the writer with such a simple storyline, which inspires me and makes me think that, even that i was hurt in my previous relationships, i can still believe in love and be positive in life and not beaten by the so-called realities.

the acting are great and the scenes taken in italy are awesome, i cant think of any other settings that could be more romantic and love-inspirational.

however , i think this movie is only suitable for people who have actually loved with their heart in their life, others could possible just laugh it off and switch another one within 5 mins.

this movie is such a surprise to me and it is probably the first "lame" american romance movie that draw tears to my eyes. especially during the part where the girl read her letter at the wedding, indeed a very touching moment.
