outside world

Fate fell, and another good movie came across. Also from a book.
Homa's big pure eyes are full of wonder and yearning for this unknown world. In the past, "Spider-Man" appeared in his true colors. Before putting on the armor, he was as innocent and calm on the outside, but his heart was on fire.
The director's details are very touching. One of the most touching scenes is that after the death of Xiao (Fiz), the sensible child concealed the news from a large group of children, falsely claiming that the young Fitz was adopted, and the old dean stood behind the door, crying uncontrollably. Death is certainly powerless, but when little Fitz watched the "King Kong" on the screen with contentment and closed his eyes and left safely, people who love him also take comfort for him to fly to another dimension and space away from illness and loneliness.
Homa rushed out of this quiet corner where she grew up for 20 years. In another part of the world, she experienced the love she couldn't help but couldn't grasp. She saw the unknown gaps and filth in life, and her heart was always tied to the people and things in that corner.
All departures are for the return.

The Cider House Rules quotes

  • Fuzzy: Is your father dead?

Dr. Wilbur Larch: Cirrhosis. It's a disease of the liver.

Fuzzy: What, a liver killed him?

Dr. Wilbur Larch: No, alcohol killed him. He drank himself to death.

Fuzzy: But did you know him?

Dr. Wilbur Larch: Barely. But it hardly mattered that I knew him.

Fuzzy: Did you know your mother better?

Dr. Wilbur Larch: Mm-hmm. She's dead now too. She was a nanny.

    Fuzzy: What's a nanny do?

Dr. Wilbur Larch: She looks after other people's children.

Fuzzy: Did she grow up around here?

Dr. Wilbur Larch: No. She was an immigrant.

    Fuzzy: What's an immigrant?

Dr. Wilbur Larch: Someone not from Maine.

  • Homer Wells: I was wondering if you could give me a ride.

Wally Worthington: Sure. I'd be glad to. A ride where?

    Homer Wells: Where you going?

Wally Worthington: We're heading back to Cape Kenneth.

Homer Wells: Cape Kenneth? That sounds fine.
