"The Prophet" won nine French film Caesar Awards, plus the previous Cannes jury award, this French film does have an amazing performance. The rhythm of the film is worth mentioning, its time jumps, it seems unconventional. One year has passed, and three years have passed. From a cinematic perspective, Malik's slow domination in "The Prophet" and the director's composure and patient preparation are in perfect harmony. He doesn't shy away from people telling stories that are too long, and he's not in a hurry to prove anything, or you won't enjoy the ending climax. In the previous work "The Rhythm of My Heart Forgotten", music successfully changed a gangster. In "The Prophet", it may be the identity, prison and "precognition ability" that changed Malik. The director mixed and matched various types of elements such as crime, realism, inspiration, fantasy, etc., indicating that the inner lens of the protagonist is full of beauty, and the outside world, blue sky and sea water, and running deer.
