It's still over.
A pure coming-of-age story, without sworn dreams, without the preaching of crown springs. A child with high IQ and low emotional quotient, and three adults with their own concerns, get together for survival.
At the beginning of the story, Spike says that the three things he hates most are all on the boat: children, dogs, and naughty women. And when Faye left, he and Jet were sitting on the sofa eating eggs without any extra words. Maybe, he also wanted to eat a bowl of green pepper shredded pork without meat.
Jet said he didn't like the snow in Kilimanjaro because the people in the story couldn't let go of the past. And from the beginning to the end, they were all involved in the past, but they didn't ask each other. Quiet as the sea, calm and turbulent.
Spike said that one of his eyes is looking at the past and the other is looking at the present, and what he sees is not real. And now, he wants to wake up from his dream and see if he is really alive.
Faye's last weak shot, Mao Enlai's (...) last Bang, the story is over.
