Highlights of the sequel

The clean rhythm, the vividly violent style, the inner struggles of the characters, and the practical plot are all for this sequel to be rotten. There is nothing new in this sequel, and it cruelly applied a one-size-fits-all policy to the little girl's continuous surgery. Back on the good track. I think 7, 8, 9 are all good.
Highly recommend Jeremy Curtis' performance! In the end, her fight with Mike should be regarded as the most evenly matched and most thrilling battle in the entire series! It is a fighting beast without procrastination and no room. At the end, she showed tolerance when she wanted to kill Mike. She watched Mike helplessly stretched out her hands when he was squeezed on the stump by the car. She called his name in tears and even wanted to uncover his ridiculous mask, but she suddenly realized that his and her pain must be relieved immediately, so she decisively chopped off his head with an axe.
I have always felt that one of the things McMyers wanted to do was to be killed. His family has been almost killed by him, and his only purpose in the world is to make sure that none of his family members are left, and they will all be destroyed with him! This is also caused by a strong tendency to self-destruct. So in this episode, Laurie satisfies him as his sister, which I think is very reasonable.

Halloween H20: 20 Years Later quotes

  • [Laurie, Will and the kids have just survived from Michael]

    Will Brennan: Who was that?

    Laurie Strode: My brother.

  • [During the opening credits, Dr. Sam Loomis can be heard saying a line from the original "Halloween"]

Dr. Samuel 'Sam' Loomis: I met him fifteen years ago. I was told there was nothing left. No reason, no conscience, no understanding, even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong. I met this six-year-old child, with this blank, pale, emotionless face and the blackest eyes... the devil's eyes. I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up because I realized that what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply... evil.
