SEE YOU SPACE

Great work.
The process of watching it feels a strong sense of nostalgia, nostalgic music, outdated spaceship machinery, and people wandering in the past.

In "Cowboy Planet", the stars represent the future, the cowboy represents the past, and the people in it are hesitating between the future and the past. Those who are bound by the past, those who cannot let go of the past, those who have forgotten the past, those who have been abandoned by the past. And at the end of the story, they all return to the present, and each has finished saying goodbye to the past.

Spike finished his last meal of shredded green peppers and walked over to Faya's gunfire to end the past.
Jet says goodbye to people and events from his past, leaving his wife, his lost arm, and betraying his friends.
Faya remembered everything in the past, found his hometown, and lay quietly in a ruined home. Then he chose to return to the boat
, Ed found his father, and embarked on a journey to follow his father.

I just want to confirm if I am really alive...

When Spike said that, it felt like he was finally back where he was now.

You gonna carry that weight.
I understand the ending sentence is that you need to bear the weight of the past in order to move towards your future.

Let's see you space.
In the future.

  • Jet Black: Betrayal may come easily to women, but men live by iron-clad codes of honor.

Faye Valentine: You really believe that?

Jet Black: I'm trying to, real hard.

  • Spike Spiegel: [muffled by bandages] You sing off-key.
