Only the snow of Kilimanjaro remained in the man's eyes, and that pesky cat was finally exhausted in a million tears. Jet reconciles with the past and lives in the present, faye loses his past and crumbles, and ed and ein, two happy little guys, have a future. And spike, who had overdrawn everything he had in the past, could only rest in an illusory dream. And after a brief flashback, everything was just a finger gun for that joke.
Spike was meant to be a dying man, a man with no present and no future. Seeing a few other comments, I feel that Spike's return to Red Dragon is to cut off the past, and he still has expectations for the future. But while watching, the spike makes it feel like he's not in reality at all. Perhaps the clever spike knew his fate from the start. He looked handsome, dashing, and in my opinion just abandoned. Of course, no one will take the initiative to give up, after all, this is not a second anime, he just really can't catch it. Live in a self-knowledge lie, and can't be nostalgic. Every time he showed a touched expression about the red dragon, maybe what he really longed for was to die at the end of the past. In fact, before watching the last two episodes, I always thought that spike and faye had no emotional connection, and their little communication was just a little bit in the super-fast-paced countless clips. Faye's feelings may be mixed with too much unease and loneliness from the blank, not to mention the extremely heavy past of spike and julia, he is simply reluctant to invest more. Like that lyric, On another love, All my tears have been used up. Faye is the reality he can't grasp, and sheds all the tears for julia.
However, in the last episode, although it seems that there are only Faye's unilateral showing of love and Spike's ruthlessness, it is inexplicably vague that Spike also has a good impression of Faye, which was verified by Watanabe's interview later. Surprisingly happy. After all, during the entire viewing process, I didn't even want to pay too much attention to their relationship line, because that relationship is too frivolous, what's the use? The ending is so obvious. But in the end, I look forward to this little bit of affection.
Feelings may not need to be revealed too much. Although these homeless cowboys didn't say a few words, jet and spike went across mountains and seas to find a player for Faye's past; when Faye and Ed left, the two men looked like Like a little girl, she swallowed eggs to stop her crying; Spike contacted Faye who left without hesitation during the crisis. Friendship, family, love, I think there are all of them, but the adults have said they are tired before, and this time they don't want to talk about it.
There's a lot more to say, so I'll write here first.
