There are many kinds of films, big productions, small fresh, commercial films, literary films... Some are thought-provoking, some test people's intelligence, some are warm, and some challenge the courage of the audience. You can't always ask a movie to have the specialties of various movies.
As a 3D sci-fi movie, this "Mysterious Island" has beautiful scenes, realistic and shocking special effects, and the character performances are always brilliant. There's nothing wrong with sitting in the theater, unwinding, and following the film's protagonists on a magical journey that explodes their imaginations. Why bother to care about the simplicity of the plot, or the question of logic? It's a waste of your time and unfair to the movie itself if you always watch such a movie with such a vision.
