The Viciousness Not Deserving of Forgiveness-To Lan Lan's Most Outstanding Villain

For those who gave this film a score of 3 or less, I would like to ask how high your requirements are for the film? The smooth soundtrack, natural editing, suitable atmosphere creation and not too clear but unconventional themes, are these not worth 3 points? The place where the more points are deducted is probably Franco’s unrequited love when performing Longo’s complex emotional scenes [Although I am a true fan of Lanlan, but yes, I am still a bit dissatisfied with some of his performance ==

said Let's talk if you don't understand whether Longo kills his wife or children? Are you sure you didn’t miss the plot because you didn’t know the story because of the lack of subtitles?

honest, Franco has never played the villain a few times, but this time it really makes me, a brain fan, feel terribly disgusted. No wonder he himself was in an interview. Said that I didn't like this character very much. Longo had already figured out his own words in the murder setting from the beginning, and he couldn't get more scheming when he found reporter Michael. Looking at the whole film, he is indeed an ordinary person, he is cunning, but not so cunning. He was able to complete a series of killings so rationally, and calmly set up the situation to attract reporters step by step; but his rhetoric could not cover up the truth of his killing without flaws, and he continued through the unintentional help of comrade reporters. I am perfecting my confession.

When I heard him say that the girl died as if the teddy bear died with it, I was fucked up. Good thing, learn and use, all your mind is used to confuse the jury by playing language and art. It’s really true that the reporter only reacted when he talked about double negativity... well, after all, this fits the audience's memory better.

In fact, even if this film stays in the inner exploration of the murderer, it is enough. As the reporter said, all of Longo's words are lie, lie, lie. He has been talking about his helplessness and all kinds of forces in life, but in the final analysis, such extreme writing is completely derived from his selfish nature. The clues can be seen from the fact that this man has always liked to start topics around himself. And Longo looks good, whether it is an actor or Longo in a real event, this makes me even guess that he completely wants to set up a game with his own self-righteousness, thinking about starting a new life after escaping from his birth, the so-called gentle beast is nothing more than this. What he said is to send his wife and children to a better world, rather than saying that he hopes that he can live a completely different and better life. The film uses some short pictures to show Longo's nostalgia and love for his wife, and it also plays a role in creating a suspenseful atmosphere; and I don't doubt the authenticity of that love. It's just that one person can have many emotions at the same time, saying that Longo loves his wife will not kill her? No, he can continue to love her after killing her, he may also regret it, but he will still do the same thing again. There is no other reason but selfishness. Remorse will not torture him endlessly, but poor and overly large families will.

However, the director chose to finally fall on the reporter, which is completely understandable, starting with the reporter and ending with him. As for the reporter, I was very worried about what I really lost in such a communication with the murderer. There are some dark things that should not be touched. Although it does not object to the professional creed that "anyone’s story is worth listening to" that the reporter has insisted before, but to be honest, face the cunning criminal who is kind and manipulating the heart of Longo. , It’s really not easy not to be crooked when you fully understand his heart. The hateful person is also pitiful, and when a hateful person talks to you for years and years, and shows you the softest warmth in his heart, how long can you persist and still look at him with a completely unbiased eye? Longo is so good at getting good feelings and sympathy. It's terrible. Especially after gaining writing skills from reporters, it is extremely evil.

When I saw that at the end, in reality, reporters would talk to Longo every month, so I too. Perhaps after realizing that his arguments would no longer be trusted, this handsome beast finally gave up the technique of language confusion. But apart from himself, I am afraid that no one knows whether he has really reformed. Perhaps some of the viciousness is indeed deep in the bones.
