Still pretty powerful

I didn't think it was a good movie. Two reasons raised his score to five stars in my mind:

1. I have read Jules Verne's books "Around the World in Eighty Days" and "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" ", as a science fiction writer, the scientific data is very full and the text is simple, but it also lacks a sense of shock. This film officially stacks the sci-fi data, and adds large-scale picture-quality sound effects to greatly improve the sci-fi effect. I watched the 2d version, from the lens arrangement, I can see that the 3d version will look very good, especially the scene where the big bird chases the bee. . .

2. The creativity of this film is really awesome. He is not purely a remake of the book content, but an exploration of a (group?) sci-fi fan, so that the rich content in the original book, with the addition of Hollywood screenwriters, will further promote A sense of surprise, and at the same time, even if the movie continues to make a sequel, there will be no obvious aesthetic fatigue. . . . . Moon landing version, come more violently! ! !

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island quotes

  • Hank: [fighting a giant lizard with a flare] Not now, Sean. She's scared!

Sean: No, it's cold-blooded and it's attracted to heat.

    [the lizard bites the flare]

    Hank: That's emasculating.

    Sean: Now what?

Hank: Now there's only one thing left. The thunder cookie.

[clenching his fist at the giant lizard and punches it]

Hank: I think I just made it worse.

    [the lizard growls at them]

Kailani: Hope she doesn't like Polynesian food.

Gabato: I hope she doesn't like food with poop in its pants!

  • Hank: It takes a big man to play a little guitar.

Alexander: And a bigger one to listen.
