As a loyal fan of the series, let’s briefly enumerate the highlights and deficiencies of this and the first two works.
Highlight 1: Surprisingly in frightening the audience, rational use of the female protagonist’s inconvenience after the car accident and the visual blind spot after the neck fixation was used to make a fuss, which is very innovative.

The role of the younger brother is much more than that, and the only role is to lead to the second silly ghost hunter. In fact, if the plot of the younger brother is used to show the gap between father and daughter in detail, the film should be more compact. In the first two movies, Wen Ziren didn't even give his second brother a chance to be photographed.
Disadvantage 2: The ability to direct the story of the speech is still slightly lacking. The high evaluation of the latent first part is because it is very good in terms of creativity, atmosphere, and storytelling ability. It is worthy of careful taste. Many people even realized it after reading the analysis post. Therefore, a horror film must tell a good story. This core is the reason that makes people get cold after walking out of the movie theater. But this one is much more plain, and the general plot of each link can be expected. Maybe the only intention is that the husband of the old woman exorcism has a guest appearance in the underworld.
Finally, after talking about the advantages and disadvantages, my overall view of this film is that the director is limited (you can ask him to go back and change the script if there is a problem with the screenwriter), and his storytelling ability is not as good as James Wen. But the style of the series is still there, and the plot can be connected reasonably. It is worth watching for fans of the series.
