The growth of an idealist

Watching this after watching Bad Education... didn't disappoint me.
I suddenly felt that my opinion of Gail was not bad before...Although the character of Juan is a bit flat

, I really like the soundtrack in it. There is a lot of Argentine style stuff.
Classic guitar works fine. The original slightly sad classical guitar is very suitable for this film. Che's slightly sad, a little petty bourgeoisie feeling. I'm just wondering why che who grew up in Argentina can't even dance.
Well, I really like the feel of tango, passionate, elegant (but not in the movie).
And I really liked the performance of electric guitars and some other musical instruments (said to be wooden boxes?) in the background when che was riding on a big boat. Great feeling.
And when he was crossing the river, he could only hear che's breathing for a long time - well I knew from "Bad Education" that Gale's swimming and diving was good - but che... ...the kid has asthma, so I'm worried. When he was close to successfully crossing the river, he inserted some kind of percussion, which was very exciting.

It was found that the wooden box is actually a very commonly used musical instrument. In the breath of silence like a mystery, there is this kind of music in the rivers and lakes of the fish.

  • Ernesto Guevara de la Serna: [voiceover] The goal: to explore a continent we had only known in books.

  • Alberto Granado: We land on the Guajira Peninsula. The tip of a great continent. Bellies full of wine and two tropical beauties, hopefully sisters.

Ernesto Guevara de la Serna: That's good beer, huh?
