An airplane crashed into an isolated, snow-covered forest. There was a corpse on the airplane and 4.5 million in cash. Hank (Bill Paiston), his brother Jacob (Billy Bob Thornton) and their friend Lu are all moved by the money because they all need it. Hank has a small reputation in the village, and his wife is about to give birth; Jacob is not that successful, and always dreams of buying his father's farm; when he is unemployed and has good things in the cup, he is desperate for money. Standing in the snow, facing a huge amount of money never seen in this life, the three people secretly reached an agreement, but betrayal, suspicion, and suspicion were born from this. Their relationship will face crisis. Hank’s love for his wife Sarah (Brij Fonda), his friendship with Lu, and his brotherhood with Jacques will all be tested one by one.

Hank Mitchell: [narrating] When I was still just a kid, I remember my father telling me what he thought that it took for a man to be happy. Simple things, really. A wife he loves, a decent job, friends and neighbors who like and respect him. And for a while there, without hardly even realizing it, I had all that. I was a happy man.
