Thematically speaking, a concise and fast-paced story can make you think.
In terms of narrative structure, the beginning is simply wonderful. Several villains rode into the painting. Wherever they went, people seemed to be stunned. Everyone knew them and dared not look at them. After they passed by, People were whispering. The three do nothing but go to the station, ask when the midday bus will arrive, and start a boring wait; then there's the sheriff's wedding, the telegram, the big bad guy, the boss of the three guys is out of jail .
Seeing this, you should have enough understanding of how cruel the villain is - what a clever side description. At the same time leave suspense.
