Page 0The release of Gordon Gekko with the gigantic mobile phone. He is left behind by the world. And the voice over explains the myth of how human race appears on the surface of the planet. (Something never changes despite of the time)

Wall Street 2 can teach students that some things, especially truths, don't change over time. Although the protagonist Gordon was imprisoned for being too greedy, he was released from prison ten years later, and he was still able to regroup and climb to the top of the financial world with his own strength. As he said at the beginning in Wall Street 1, he never relies on luck, never fights unwinnable battles. Many of our young people now often hold the mentality of luck, thinking that there is only one day, if you choose a stock that will skyrocket, you can sit back and relax for the rest of your life. But in fact, the secret of success is not luck, but a person's understanding of the world, understanding of himself, and personal ability. With these, no matter where this person goes to the ends of the earth, he can achieve success at any time and reach the top of the world.

Wall Street 2 is a very good emotional education for young people on how to find a balance between dreams and reality. Our young people are very prone to extremes. The global financial crisis of 2008 caused people around the world to lose trust in Wall Street. It's easy to see everyone in the financial world as liars. But such a worldview is extreme and unfair. There are also many fanatical young people who believe too much in the power of the financial system. They often think that as long as they can trade stocks, their lives will be complete. Such an idea is also inadvisable. These two Wall Street films both remind us young people of the evils of the financial system and encourage us young people to use the power of the financial system to work miracles.

Page 5When the couple sees Gordon on TV, the girl gets so angry that she destroys the remote.

Page 6The couple rides bike to work. On the way, the scientist calls Jake to share the good news about the experiment on the new energy. Jake reassures the scientist about the 100 million investment. (THE GOAL OF THE PROTAGONIST)

Page 8The trader's meeting. Jake expresses doubt about the recommendation of other traders.

Page 11Jake goes to see his mentor, who is not doing well in the market. But the mentor gives Jake a million dollars bonus. He feels that the world has changed and he has been outdated. (OPPORTUNITY: GETTING A BONUS AND THE BEGINNING OF CHAOS)

Page 13Jake goes to shop for a really big diamond, preparing to propose. He is able to resist the temptation in the club. Jake and his friend talk about the difficulty in his future marriage because of Gordon Gekko. They also talk about the rumor about the debt that his mentor is in and how the buyer's expectation is going to come true when they believe it. But Jake has such a big faith in his company that he invests all of his money into the company's stock. (NEW SITUATION: THE PROSPECT OF MARRIAGE, THE CURRENT SITUATION OF THE COMPANY LEADS TO THE WAGER OF THE BONUS)

Page 16The next day, their company's stock plummets and Jake is losing his million dollars. But he doesn't want to sell because of his faith in the company. (PRELUDE OF THE DISASTER)

Page 18Jake goes to talk to his mentor in the park who complains about the crazy world. Jake tries to help him, but he claims that things are so bad that everybody is going down. Children are playing bubbles around them.

Page 21 The meeting in the Federal Reserve. The mentor tries to convince the government to rescue his company but Bretton brings up the topic of “moral hazard” and refuses to help.

The movie Wall Street also takes viewers to the core top departments of the Federal Reserve, giving us a look at how they make their decisions.

Page 23Inside negotiation. Bretton takes advantage of the situation and is only willing to offer a very low price for his company. The mentor is destroyed. He had breakfast the next morning, gets on the subway and steps in front of the subway.

Page 27Jake is devastated about his mentor's death. When his girlfriend comes back, Jake asks her to marry him. (CHANGE OF PLAN: THE DEATH OF THE MENTOR AND THE MARRIAGE PROPOSAL)

Page 30Jake goes to listen to Gordon's lecture at the university. Gordon talks about the greed of the entire society, instead of true production. “The mother of all evil is speculation.” Comparing to the contemporary society, Gordon is not the greedy one anymore . (CHANGE OF PLAN: MEETING GORDON)

Gordon's speeches are always classic. He can always trigger our thinking and point us to the essence of things. His best speech was his generalization of greed. Yes. The greatest weakness of our human beings is greed, but greed is also the driving force for human progress. He wasn't wrong at all, but what Gordon didn't understand was that everything had to have a degree. If you are too greedy, you will be imprisoned; but if you don't ask for any progress, you will inevitably be discouraged from making progress. The global financial crisis of 2008 was caused by human greed. But greed is not the root of all evil: what's wrong with our human greed for love, greed for knowledge, greed for beauty? The real root of all evil is speculation. The vast majority of people in our world today do not get rich by creating wealth, but by moving money from one place to another to earn the hard-earned money of others. This is why our financial system is doomed.

Page 36Jake comes to talk to Gordon after the lecture and tells him that he is going to marry his daughter.

Page 37They talk about the nature of money and getting Winnie his father back. Gordon also tells Jake about the fact that Bretton caused the death of his mentor. (PROGRESS WITH GORGON)

Page 45Jake and Winnie go to see Jake's real estate agent mom, who is in trouble financially and asks help from Jake. Winnie asks Jake to return the diamond ring.

Jake's mother is also a microcosm of this doomed financial system. She used to be a nurse, but because of the lure of money, she became a real estate agent. This is also the current situation in our country: due to the soaring housing prices, many young people who have no direction in life, covet high agency fees, become real estate agents, and give up the pursuit of life and dreams. The movie Wall Street also educates young people emotionally not to seek short-term interests, but to serve the society and others. This is the true meaning of life.
