Five years later, I came here in anticipation of the return of the disaster giant system, but I didn't expect to be fooled.
Not to mention how unscientific the setting of weather control is, 90% of the literary drama in the whole film has made people crazy, and it is to watch disaster films, not family films. Don't expect the scene to be as shocking as "2012", at least the connotation must be awe of nature. In the face of natural disasters, the insignificance and powerlessness of human beings is the main theme, and the conspiracy theory of man-made disasters without this feeling is doomed to fail. The director wants to graft "The Day After Tomorrow" and "Gravity" together, obviously there is a rejection reaction. The pseudo-climax under the absurd plot, with the flashing special effects of fifty cents, is really a "disaster movie".
The casting is also unreasonable. Gerard Butler, the action professional who saves the president and saves the world, plays brotherhood; Andy Garcia, the ace villain, is actually a good person; Wu Yanzu, the only handsome Chinese guy, played in a quarter of an hour. With soy sauce, I don't know what the director's considerations are, just like a giant team with a wrong lineup, full of perfunctory and dazed.
