I've always wanted to see this movie. Because the Internet keeps saying it's a combination of Titanic and a perfect storm. I like watching disaster movies. Sitting in a movie theater and watching a disaster movie come out, I will feel that I love life very much. Originally, I wanted to watch this movie with one person. Later, that person changed and I didn't like it, so I wanted to watch it even more.
Movies are purely entertainment, as long as they are enjoyable to watch, I will not analyze their artistry. If a movie doesn't catch me in the first five minutes, or doesn't make it clear to me, I don't want to watch it any longer. That's why I dislike European movies so much. I like Hollywood movies. They are more lively. You can call me vulgar.
It seems that after the movie came out, there was a flood of bad reviews on the Internet. To be honest, I’ve never seen a commercial film that wasn’t criticized for being flawless. On the contrary, those films that the masses didn’t understand would win applause. Everyone was scrambling to show that they had connotations, and they sat in the movie theater and watched it hard. A boring so-called art film, or simply take a nap, write something that no one can understand after it comes out, and welcome some echoes.
A lot of nonsense. Now let's get down to business. I think the Poseidon is pretty good looking. The ship capsized not long after the opening. I think this is very good. The key characters have already explained clearly, the time for the ship to capsize. Then just watch them escape all the way. One of the wonderful things about this movie is that Valentine dies. He is a good man, but no one stipulates that a good man will survive, especially if he is abandoned by his companions. I thought that scene was really shocking. Ugh. Of course, bad people also have bad rewards, and the retribution comes very quickly. And that kid did a great job, foreign kids are really good at acting. There is nothing superfluous in the whole movie, clean and neat. It reflects many kinds of feelings, love (heterosexual and same-sex), family (father-daughter and mother-son, as well as brother and sister), friendship, and even sympathy between political opponents. Of course, Americans have a good sense of themselves, and they are beautifying New York. It's not without its shortcomings. For example, it's too short, and there are too few big scenes. I always find it unsatisfactory.
After the movie ended, there was a sense of loss. I do this often.
Movies have already been made, and people are happy to spend money to make them. Buying a ticket to see it is voluntary, it’s just entertainment, why do you need to be so demanding?
