Movie Talk [0087] United 93 Thriller Flight

Except for a series of documentaries, no one can use a 2-hour movie to show the panorama of 9/11. As for the biggest scar in the United States, Hollywood does not seem to dare to make a mistake. In recent years, there are not many movies with the theme of 9/11. In this documentary-style United 93, many of the characters are played by themselves, and the director is cruel enough to let them relive the story in front of the camera.

In a highly developed (at least I think so) America, traffic control, especially flight control and communications, should be extremely highly developed (I still think so), but what the movie presents is a cross-communication mess The flight command system of the United States, in the case of several failures, can't it make a phone call or send a text message to the pilot to lock the door and make an emergency landing? Four minutes after the crash of United 93, the military learned that the plane had been hijacked. This is not a technical problem but a mechanism problem, not a natural disaster but a man-made disaster. You can imagine our 923 train incident. The train that "is absolutely impossible for you to rear-end" was actually installed. Can you say that those designers are really stupid? I watched the Fahrenheit 911 documentary. Bush was in a school at the time, and he was dumbfounded for 10 minutes after hearing the news. It's a little bit of America's own fault to elect such a fool and a coward as president. And the passengers who dared to come forward are heroes, even though they are just ordinary people, even though they are only trying to save their own lives, even though they have never thought of thanking the party and the country.
