I don't know why, a movie with such a slow pace doesn't seem boring at all, but I couldn't restrain my emotions during this process, and I was often in tears. I don't have the same experience as isak, but I always empathize with him all the time.
The setting of such a bitter old man made me think of Edward in "Battery List" first. They all have the same label - "rich bastards". However, I think "Bucket List" is more like a cool movie of life, with a large amount of space on the word "Last Wish", and less general emotional lines. "Wild Strawberry" suits me better.
To make a simple story well, it is often necessary to strengthen the emotional resonance in it. The bright line is a driving trip, and the dark line repairs Isak's inner trauma. I think the three young people are the finishing touch of the whole film, and they are the main reason why fans are talking about it until now.
I feel deeply about the audio-visual language of the film, and I can also deeply appreciate the difference in the quality of the film from the golden age of Hollywood at that time. The film is always more than a story.
