I have to read and write as I feel, but I don't know where to start after reading it. It was incomprehensible at first, but this kind of movie really got to the last minute to understand the director's entire layout. In fact, it is a simple thing with profound meaning; the fear of death, the reality is projected into the dream; the fear of the judgment of others, the content of the judgment is actually the most feared thing in the protagonist's heart, in fact, it does not say that the protagonist is an outsider's eye How cold it is, in fact, most of it is hidden in the heart, and it is nakedly exposed from these few dreams. Similarly, in the last dream, there is a beautiful picture of his parents fishing by the river, that is, the beauty of childhood has healed his life. In fact, I think the old man only externalizes the soft part of his heart, and he can also give warmth and love to others; this part stems from the beautiful encounters in this day: bickering with the housekeeper, straightforward dialogue with his daughter-in-law, and three Energetic young people walking together, with a quarrelsome couple, visiting their mother. This may be an ordinary day, but it does bring some warmth to the old man. It is the fear in the dream that strengthens the warmth in real life. After reading it, I feel deeply that the three generations of the old man's mother and son have the same sense of indifference, especially the son's resistance and determination when he learns of the arrival of a new life. I really can't agree with what he said, he has never received love from his parents, how can he expect the next generation to live better and receive more love than himself. Even though he has been emphasizing that I don't want to take this responsibility, and I can't take it, in fact his attitude is a sense of responsibility, that is, this so-called "coldness" should not be carried over to the next generation. It's like saying that oneself is incomplete, let alone giving love to others intact. But people are so complicated, and you may grow and love in your experience, it just depends on whether you have the courage to move towards optimism!

Wild Strawberries quotes

  • Dr. Evald Borg: It's absurd to bring children into this world and think they'll be better off than we were.

Marianne Borg: That's just an excuse.

Dr. Evald Borg: Call it what you want. I was an unwanted child in a hellish marriage.

  • Marianne Borg: You're a coward.

Dr. Evald Borg: Yes. This life sickens me. I will not be forced to take on a responsibility that will make me live for one day longer than I want to. And you know that I mean what I say.
