Most of the viewers watching this film are real players of escape room in the real world, except for me. I have never been able to meet in life, and there happens to be a popular dark horse movie. It is also a good entertainment to do popular science.

Regarding the praise of game fans for the degree of restoration of this film, as a novice, I am not qualified to speak. But the movie itself does have its own unique features, the first of which is the director's high focus on the theme of the story. The opening scene is the moment of life and death in the last room, which quickly brings the audience into the state without any transition. The unfolding of the subsequent plot has always been closely linked to the chain of the game, and has never been separated, from the mysterious box received, to the old building full of Eastern European style, to the 6 players who gathered in the waiting room one after another. Docking 6 cleverly designed escape rooms with prominent themes. Elements of the game are really well embedded in every stage of the movie.

Then there's the film's rendering of the tension. People originally only wanted to participate in a game in the name of "escape", but they didn't want to really fall into an escape. The core of the game - the 6 secret rooms are originally designed to be very interesting, with distinct styles, and all hide key elements of the character's background. In addition to being weird, they silently stir the players' emotions. The seamless editing makes the rhythm of the movie quite tight. The exit of the previous room is the entrance of the next room. Without waiting for the audience to digest or let the audience relax a little, the exciting new adventure begins immediately. Coupled with the usual electronic sound effects of thrillers, even if the film does not have extraordinary photography skills, its expressiveness is enough to bring the audience a strong immersive experience.

But the single theme also determines that this film is at most a film that can be used as a pastime when the film is in short supply. Although it is appropriate that the story has always been based on the theme, the background explanation is too thin, and the inexplicable close-ups and constantly inserted flashbacks keep the audience in a fog. It's really like playing a word game. The emotional lines of all the characters are not described in the form of third-person dialogue until the fifth room. Those past years ago are not at all friendly to the audience, and it is difficult to let them How much I resonate with this. This leads to the fact that after watching the movie, I have ignored the human nature that the director may have hoped the audience to perceive, and only remember the process of the game.

The male protagonist finally survived to the end, but unexpectedly encountered the interception of the game designer, which made the audience instantly realize that this cleverly designed game was just a pastime of killing for the sake of killing. The taste of the tail.

This pure film is less than 90 minutes long. Although it still does not get rid of the traditional thriller routine in the end, the tense experience can still make time pass by in a blink of an eye. Fortunately, after watching it, it will not make people feel like a waste of life.

Not good or bad, not recommended, not favorite.
