The children of the slums do not know or care what kind of predicament they are living in. They follow their nature and live happily and unrestrainedly. Eating ice cream, spitting, pranking, exploring abandoned houses, it seems that the suffering around them has nothing to do with them. Children seem to be always noisy, and at the same time, some people are leaving because they can't pay the rent, going to prostitution to live, losing custody, the plight of the poor and the happiness of children collide and merge in this "Florida Paradise", background The sound of the giant helicopter and the joy of Disney added to the dilemma. My favorite tree has fallen, but it's still growing. The people at the bottom of the society are impoverished, and they have been enjoying themselves in a life of misery. Harley doesn't seem to care about the hardships in life, and is easy going with children, jumping electric hips, and taking pictures against the backdrop of a burning house, but when she can't find a job, when forced to do sex, when she loses child custody, she goes deep inside. The pain can no longer be concealed by the superficial laughter. In the end, children briefly run to Disneyland, a park that does not belong to them, and what kind of life will adults be trapped in for a long time? What exactly has changed?
It doesn't make sense to talk about good and evil, right and wrong, the lack of parenting in this film, because at some point everyone is being carried forward by life.
Finally, let's talk about performance. The whole film uses a large number of large color blocks and highly saturated colors, which echoes the joy of suffering and contrasts with the tragedy of the characters. The main colors are the purple of the house and the green of the vegetation, embellished with pink, red and other colors. At the same time, a lot of color echoes are used, and the clothes of the characters can always fit the background very well. In terms of shooting angle, the angle of view of the lens is lower, even lower than the line of sight of children in some scenes. In terms of scenery, there are a lot of big perspectives, and with the noise of children, the picture appears to be relatively regular, but at the same time, the large use of fisheye lenses causes the lines to be distorted, and it should also want to show some kind of conflict. Hand-held shots are often used when dramatic conflicts occur, such as dad dividing toys and exploring abandoned houses, which better shows the sense of presence from the perspective of dynamic children. The most outstanding part of the film is the soundtrack. Most of the time, there is no soundtrack, and the rhythm is extremely slow to express the scenes of life. In the second half of the film, only some rap with poor sound quality is interspersed, and at the end, it runs to Disney. , the sudden BGM pulled the mood to a climax. Some of my favorite shots are: watching Disney fireworks on her birthday, pushing a shopping cart through traffic after sex, playing with her daughter in the rain, deliberately defocused frontal shot of little girl eating before DCF, and the final cry and in BGM Towards the park Disney.
