According to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, when physiological needs are met, people will pursue higher-level needs. When everyone is pursuing physiological needs, most people's behaviors are the same, and when their physiological needs are met, people's behavioral directions will differ to a large extent.

This movie takes shrinking as an opportunity, and after shrinking, wealth expands. As the heroine said, most people in the paradise are lazy and indulgent, because these people are just for the purpose of enjoying the explosion of assets.

The male protagonist is obviously an outlier in the paradise, and he is ridiculed by the neighbors, but he is a person who pursues a higher level of life. In order to make the female protagonist more comfortable, he helps the female prosthesis transform prosthetic limbs, and helps the neighbors in the slums to collect food and help. The poor get sick.

In the second half of the movie, when it comes to the imminent extinction of human beings, some villains hide in Noah's Ark and wait for the world to restart. It is just an introduction. The reason is explained through the choice of the male protagonist. Some people will hide in order to survive, and others will People will bravely live in the sunshine for the splendor of this moment.

The rhythm of the whole movie is average, there are not too many ups and downs, and the overall feeling is average.

It didn't change everything because of shrinking! It's a human problem, not a size problem!

Even a light-hearted movie like Nebraska revolves around the goal of winning. The biggest problem with Shrinking Life is not having a coherent story goal. The first half of the movie is actually quite entertaining, and even though I was expecting a Gulliver-like situation, the rare sci-fi and Penny mashup is also quite brilliant in the first half. After the Vietnamese appeared in the second half, it became extremely boring, the male protagonist lost his movements, and the feeling of great love was powerless.
