In recent years, it is really difficult to watch a movie with a basically normal plot and no flaws. The IQ of this film has been online all the time, and it is really commendable that people can be immersed in the plot all the time. Relying on the multi-character story line, creating the atmosphere by inserting flashbacks and editing, and telling a conventional story with ups and downs and exciting, this is Guy Ritchie's strength and logo. They were all smoothed out perfectly, but they became the suspense that caught the audience.
A gang robber boss, an innocent son was killed in an accident, so the ruthless boss desperately went undercover to escort the company, and finally avenged his son. In fact, the film is such a stereotypical gangster infighting story. It is not easy to tell, and it is even more difficult for the audience to sympathize with this black boss.
The biggest suspense in this film is that Jason is the leader of the robbers. In a planned robbery operation, he temporarily played the role of lookout for the wind. As a result, his son was caught in it, and he almost died. That's why he became an incarnation of the security guard. A tale of revenge.
Before the group of veterans came on stage, the audience would be puzzled. You planned to rob the money carrier, and the robber you hired killed your father and son by mistake because they didn't know you. You can't find the robber? This boss is really a bit of a failure. When the veterans came on stage, everyone knew that it was these veterans who cut off their beasts.
Jason's skills are actually quite good, with a degree of relaxation and the right heat. The first one-on-six, close-range headshots were brilliant. In the last game, facing a group of veterans who came down from the fully-armed battlefield, he has already reliably shown his life. In fact, "Speedy Attack" has more than 100 heads in a row, which is actually too exaggerated. Personally, I feel aesthetic fatigue.
Personally, the only regret is that Jason's character is a bit inappropriate: a ruthless robber boss. Although this is in line with Guy Ritchie's usual style of black and black fighting, the theme of the film is, after all, a story of revenge for parents and children. The character of the robber boss weakens the justice of his revenge and the sympathy of the audience.
Of course, if Jason's character is a retired special soldier, a reclusive master agent, etc., and it falls into the cliché again, a director like Gary would not like it. If the character is a reclusive professional killer, it is estimated that Jason is tired again, and he has played enough of that kind of role.
In short, it's still pretty cool to watch, the final revenge is just like that, retribution for injustice, killing the enemy at the last moment, in fact, there is really no pleasure, after all, the son died, the wife ran away, and the family was over.
PS: The last veteran murderer was played by Clinder Eastwood's son. He played an impulsive, irritable and sinister villain. Pass it.
