Hope to be as far away as a star

I hope that there are stars in the distant sky, beautiful, but they seem out of reach. I believe most people have lived their lives with all kinds of regrets about not being able to pick up stars.
In my opinion, I should make myself work harder and try it. Even if I don’t have the chance to win the stars, it’s good to be able to get closer to watch.
This film resonated deeply for me, and I believe it will also touch those friends who have struggled in the mud and eventually get a better view.

ps. The female teacher in the film seems to be the incarnation of truth, kindness and beauty, and she is full of sadness. It is probably Laura Dunn's closest role to the goddess.

October Sky quotes

  • Roy Lee: I'll tell you what's unbelievable... captain of the football team being jealous of you.

  • Principal Turner: Miss Riley, our job is to give these kids an education.

    Miss Riley: Mmm-hmm.

    Principal Turner: Not false hopes.

Miss Riley: False hopes? Do you want me to sit quiet, let 'em breathe in coal dust the rest of their life?

Principal Turner: Miss Riley, once in a while... a lucky one... will get out on a football scholarship. The rest of 'em work in the mines.

Miss Riley: How 'bout I believe in the unlucky ones? Hmm? I have to, Mister Turner, I'd go out of my mind.
