The film can be understood as a post-apocalyptic ➕ comedy film.
But as a doomsday movie, he lacks two points:

2...Character conflict. Unlike other apocalyptic films where the strong prey, confrontation and conflict, and intrigue, most of the people in this film are warmhearted.
The film is essentially a chicken soup film that embarks on love and growth. Doomsday survival is just his coat, and dogs and robots are indeed essential to watch. We should see him as a comedy, a casual movie, and don't care too much about the doomsday survival aspect in it.
