I haven't seen what I want to see so far

When I mentioned Spielberg's war films, I immediately thought of the shocking characters of saving Private Ryan's war scenes, as well as the finely portrayed characters and the ruined scenery of that era.
For the Pacific, I was looking forward to the call of duty Pacific. The scene in 1942 was really exciting, but now I can't find any bright spots except for sporadic massacre-style battles. An episode of xxoo, an episode of a mental hospital,
the battle scene is short in the jungle, and the characters are superficial. I still don't understand the director's idea. It doesn't feel like a story in each episode is scattered and unfocused.
It is said that it cost 200 million US dollars to make 10 episodes. Now there are 4 episodes left. I can only look forward to it.

Scattered and chaotic, values have been oscillating between anti-war humanity and celebrating heroes. The war scenes are brutal and fierce, but the situation and tactics are too limited by the role identities.
