I am afraid that many people have seen "Band of Brothers", I have always liked this film very much. There are definitely differences between the two films. The transition and description of the plot in "Band of Brothers" and "Pacific War" are different. The former always runs through a thread, with E Company as the center, describing the experience of E Company soldiers in the European battlefield. And "Pacific War" is divided into 3 clues in 10 episodes at the same time. In fact, if the 3 clues are filmed separately, I believe that it can be filmed for 10 hours. "Band of Brothers" is a large-scale description of the soldiers. Friendship. And "Pacific War" focuses on describing personal psychology, so apart from 3 protagonists and 2`3 supporting roles, I didn't leave a deep impression on other characters. Many people feel that this film is not as good as "Band of Brothers" ”, not as profound as “Band of Brothers.” But I think every show should have its own characteristics. After all, it's not the same story, and it can't be like "Flag of Victory" and "Letter from Iwo Jima".
Even so, this masterpiece is still very exciting, and it has been a long time since I saw such a high-quality war drama. Big production is different. People who like war movies can watch it.
PS: According to my opinion, if this "Pacific War" can make 30 episodes, I believe it will be better. Although the plot is scattered, the experience of each protagonist is very delicately portrayed.
