This is a documentary "Planet Earth 2" that can be called the return of the king. The first one 10 years ago was definitely the best documentary of the year, and it is still fresh in my memory; the second one 10 years later also has the strength to claim the throne.
I just watched the first episode, and I deeply understand what kind of effort and price the animals in the natural world need to pay in order to survive. The life-and-death chase of young marine iguanas and swimming snakes on the beach is definitely the most realistic horror movie in nature, enough to make your heart beat and sweat. And in the short breeding season, a New Zealand albatross waited alone, looking forward to the safe return of its partner after six months of separation. Millions of red crabs have died on their way to reproduce because of the invasion of an alien species called the yellow mad ant. The female penguins took their hungry chicks and waited for the male penguin to hunt back from the sea 80 nautical miles away in the eye of the skua. The blood-covered waddle of the male penguin was enough to make people cry.
This will definitely be an impressive documentary. When life is all about living hard and earnestly, it is a miracle of simplicity and beauty. There are so many broken things in human society, it is really just because of too much living. at ease.
The sloth in the PS film can swim through the deep pool and climb trees with all his strength in order to find sister paper, so what qualifications do single dogs like you and me have to not work hard?
