A scene movie before going to London

On the last day of August, I returned to China, ending my two-year study life in the UK. There are always many desires to do before returning home, just like wanting to go to London to have a look.

Fortunately, I was back in the UK in mid-December. Saw the Paddington movie the day before yesterday. Those familiar scenes and memories all flooded up at once. The movie is full of all kinds of London scenes, the streets of windsor castle, the Thames, the London Eye, the london bridge and so on. It's really all kinds of self-improvement memories.

When I saw Paddington Station, I thought that the first time I came to London with my friends was to arrive in Paddington. Standing in the station is really like that scene in a movie, where people are busy walking by. The kind that you are overwhelmed and just sighed "Ah, this is London..."

Look at the bear in the movie that put up a sign "Please take care of this bear" and kept talking to the people around him. Said, "Hello sir, I'm looking for a home..." Mrs.Brown kindly took him in. From the beginning of Mr. Brown's objection, Paddington just arrived at the house and all kinds of farce appeared. But all in all, it brought unexpected happiness and all kinds of warmth to the family.

It just so happened that it was Christmas again, and there was a festive atmosphere everywhere. The scenes, the colors and the present in the movie fit the scene again. The ending is really sweet. Fortunately, people are still in the UK and have seen this movie before going to London, and they will have no regrets when they go back to London.

Paddington quotes

  • Aunt Lucy: You once, there was once a war in the explorer's country. People in England sent their children by train with labels around their necks, so they could be taken care of by complete strangers in the country side where it was safe. They will not have forgotten how to treat strangers.

  • Paddington: Mrs Brown says that in London everyone is different, and that means anyone can fit in. I think she must be right - because although I don't look like anyone else, I really do feel at home. I'll never be like other people, but that's alright, because I'm a bear. A bear called Paddington.
