About faith

Jumping out of the unsolved theological questions about whether god answer or not, the story itself seems to be only a game about trust or doubt.

Christianity is always the easiest to take root in oppression and resistance (as in Roman times), and in the face of actual trivial hardships, the hardships endured by faith in God are always easier to bear (and more likely to cause resistance). The constant rhetorical question in the film is, were the Christians in Japan at the time who believed in (even so devoutly) really Christianity? Faced with this unsolved problem, I, who tend to epistemology, doubt the existence of "clear" Christianity. Going back to history, the theological establishment of Christianity is full of discourse definitions, and different denominations have been denounced as heresies to maintain their core. Doctrine (as I would agree more, Pelagius who argued with Augustine), different Christian philosophers rely on Christianity to answer their own questions (I believe more in their own perseverance than Christianity saved them explore the depths of human nature), which presumably cannot exist without a choice.

Therefore, Japan at that time was a swamp, and everything may have to start anew through the cycle of create-maintain-destruction (Hah conclusion jumped to Hinduism)~

3.5. I think that after we have broken away from the discussion about the role of religion in political, economic and cultural aggression, just talking about faith and life, the meaning of movies is not great, and what we can say is limited. In the end it looks like a large-scale torture show. The Japanese are ignorant and cruel characters who only know how to refuse facial expressions. And it will make people wonder why they can’t do "the meat and wine go through the intestines, but the Buddha will keep it in his heart"...

Andrew Garfield's performance is the biggest failure of the film.
