Youth is to be embarrassed

If it weren't for the handsome guy with long legs and the "strawberries and cigarettes" that I sang, I probably wouldn't have clicked in. Basically, when you are idle and bored, and when you can't sleep, it's good to take a look and relax.

Although some would label it a light comedy, I don't think the film is very comedic. Even the role of playing treasure reveals a bit of embarrassment.

Martin, who looks like a very artistic man, likes Abby but can't catch up, and helps him pursue Abby by blackmailing Simon. Although Martin's delicate side is reflected in the part of the lines, the embarrassment and wretchedness from head to toe have not been covered at all?

The latter two boys who imitated Simon and Ethan also revealed a bit of embarrassment and a bit of wretchedness.

Fear of men, fear of men.

Maybe the protagonist has something like a halo.

Although the reaction of the friends after Simon came out of the closet was also incredible. It's not that Abby can't see that Martin is interested in her, and Nick actually said "you've delayed us for so long".

emmmmmmmmm embarrassed the public screen, brothers?

This kind of friend is not worth mentioning Okay?

As for Leah, I just want to say Leah, how miserable are you? Thirteen years of youth were given to Simon.

The narration of the film is also quite formatted, except for the embarrassment that I saw, there was not much ups and downs. Typical popcorn movie.

Better yet:

*At least the male protagonist is a handsome guy with long legs

*At least xxxx too.

*fortunately it's not martin but xxxx

fell asleep.

C+ / At the beginning, I thought it would be a middle-class sweet, greasy and stereotyped mission, but I didn't expect it to be so light, flexible, delicate and true. Every character has a youthful dynamism. It is humorous and easy to incorporate a slightly ironic tone while being full of political correctness. As a youth film, the more important point is that no matter how "perfect" life is, a breakthrough is required. Even if other societies think very Hollywood in every way, they are willing to applaud and cry.

Love is so beautiful! I was quite happy to see it. In fact, its unusual lies in its ordinary. It is no different from any American youth film routine. It has gone through many ups and downs to find true love, and dilute its special color of same-sex love, which confirms the theme of this film, and love is no different. Such a beautiful fairy tale, family, friends and teachers all love him and support him, then I hope everyone can live in a fairy tale.

Love, Simon quotes

  • Ms. Albright: Don't "Hey, Ms. Albright" me. We're not friends. You're not going to braid my hair or paint my nails. Get your ass off the table now, you sweaty, hormonal virgins. You know what? You're about to be suspended for so long that by the time it's over, you're going to be the fat, bald, unhappily married, wildly mediocre nobodies you're destined to become.

Spencer: You can't talk to us like that.

Ms. Albright: Actually I can, 'cuz I just did. And you know why? Because you're just those two assholes who did that shitty thing in front of the whole school. And guess what? Nobody feels sorry for those assholes, especially me. Now walk. Mr. Worth's office. Now.

Ms. Albright: [Grabbing speaker] Unh-uh. That's mine now. I'm'ma sell it, get my tubes tied.

  • Simon: You... actually, uh, I did want to talk to you guys about something.

    Emily: What is it?

    Simon: [stammering] Uh, well...

Jack: Let me guess. You got somebody pregnant. No, you're pregnant.

    Simon: Yeah.

    Jack: I knew it!

    Simon: Yeah, I'm pregnant.

Jack: I knew it. I mean, he's got that glow about him, babe.

    Simon: No, um...

[struggles to get the words out]

    Simon: I'm gay.

[Emily and Jack are both quiet]

    Emily: Honey...

Simon: And I don't want you guys to think anything different. I'm still me...

Emily: Of course you are, Simon.

Jack: Yeah. So you're gay. Which one of your old girlfriends turned you? Was it the one with the big eyebrow or...

    Emily: Jack.

Nora: Jesus Christ, dad, do you ever shut the hell up?

    Jack: I'm kidding.

    Nora: It's not funny!

Jack: I'm kidding. Hey, Nora, open up your gift, please?

[an embarrassed Jack exits the living room]
