On the road of music, people are always unable to express in words

August Rush
is a beautiful movie with a happy ending. Although there is no thriller, no action, and no humor, the simple narration can always make people's hearts surging and calm their minds. On the road of music, people can't express in words.
Although, I have to admit, all kinds of coincidences in the movie have made the movie a happy ending, but sometimes I think about it like it said in "500 Days with Shamo", this world is not doomed, there is no destiny, only one by one coincidence.
A beautiful story, a beautiful ending, and sometimes it has such bitterness when it is reminiscent of people. A musician's child is a musician. If he was just an ordinary, ordinary child, would this still happen?
I don't know who knows August Rush the most, maybe Wallace, maybe not, but people who can communicate with nature and hear the voice around them should be able to understand each other better. But even such a person, although he likes music, all kinds of life make him forget those original natures, from the look in his eyes when he finds out about August (perhaps, on the one hand, it is a sympathy for musical geniuses). Appreciate and marvel, on the other hand, maybe it's the performance of a few hundred dollars apiece), from the calm when he discussed music with August under the night, it can only be said that he is a fallen angel in music. We don't know what life has given him, making him deeply lost in money, but when he has nothing to rely on, his behavior fulfills Louis's words "music will be your only refuge", Maybe only a child like August can truly become an angel who has sex with music.
"But what if this will lead to failure?" Sometimes this simple sentence hinders the pace of so many people. Maybe when we really have a dream, we should do everything we can to pursue our dream, even if In the end, the head was smashed, and there was no regret for nothing. After all, we have worked hard, otherwise, what is the purpose of life? But "unfortunate" is not a simple word. It represents all that we have. Is it worth giving up, or risking destroying our original beauty to pursue something unknown? What if we lose? What if we lose? Worth or not, success or failure, is it really that important sometimes? In one's life, what counts as success is first in exams in school, first in performance at work, first in money in middle age, and first in length of life in old age? When all this is gone, what is the answer, or what defines who you really are? What is your life? However, sometimes we are always confused by some things in front of us. Maybe after we give everything, we suddenly realize that all this is not our real dream. People are always not smart enough to enable us to find things that can support the weight of our lives in a complex society. When we truly discover the quality of life, even if we give up everything, even if we fail miserably in the end, it should be worth giving up. We can't let the things that hold us back are things that we think are worthless when we look back at the end of our lives, or things that are important to see with our eyes, we have to ask our lives , to feel with the heart instead of thinking with the brain, is this a part of the quality of my life?

August Rush quotes

  • August Rush: Sometimes the world tries ot knock it out of you. But I believe in music the way that some people believe in fairy tales. I like to imagine that what I hear came from my mother and father. Maybe the notes I hear, are the same ones they heard, the night they met. Maybe that's how they found each other. Maybe that's how they'll find me. I believe that once upon a time, long ago, they heard the music and followed it.

  • Louis Connelly: [talking on his cellphone while getting into a black Cadillac] I've been doing this for ten years, Bob, we said ten percent. No, we said ten percent. yeah, well it makes the world go round doesn't it, Bob? just get me the ten percent, will ya, man? thanks

[sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose]

Nick: [unoticed by Louis] Can I get you anything, sir?

Louis Connelly: Do you know any hitmen?

Nick: I know a bass player. Might be able to help you out. Likes to get into fights with lead singers.

Louis Connelly: [freezes] Nick? What're you doing here, man?

Nick: Still drivin', payin' off those weddin' bills from last year.

Louis Connelly: Oh, fair play to ya, oh, she's a nice girl.

Nick: So you playin' at all?

    Louis Connelly: Nope.

Nick: why the hell not? your fingers fall off?

Louis Connelly: Well you move on. Have you seen the lads lately?

Nick: Ah, we still mess around, but the Connelly Brothers never really bounced back minus one brother.

Louis Connelly: Have you seen Marshall lately?

    Nick: Have you?

[Louis doesn't reply so nick changes the subject]

Nick: It's my birthday on Saturday, the session's at my place. Come, bring you're girlfriend! It's great seeing you man, remind me of New York, the good old days, eh?
